Josiah Jones

Josiah Jones was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, and relocated to Bear, Delaware, after being adopted by his current family.  He graduated Sigma Tau Delta at Delaware State University with a degree in English and a minor in Philosophy.  During his final semester of undergraduate studies, Josiah interned for Delaware Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester while tutoring part-time for his college.  After graduation, Josiah began working for his state congressional House Assembly as a legislative aide for two representatives, including the Speaker of the House.  Josiah was also a student diplomat for the Kakehashi Project through JICE, where he studied Japanese socioeconomic structures in Japan.  He is indebted to his educational experiences and community, prioritizing the importance of moral and social relativism in his learning and teaching methods.  Josiah speaks Japanese and aspires to become a Crisis, Stabilization, & Governance Officer when he joins the USAID Foreign Service.  During his hypothetical free time, Josiah imagines himself reading comics, writing, or wondering if skating is an ethical use of his health insurance.
